Hispanic Heritage Luncheon at UCI

During September's Hispanic Heritage Month, Councilmember Agran celebrated the diverse and vibrant Hispanic culture at the 2023 Hispanic Heritage Luncheon hosted by the UCI-OC Alliance, the Orange County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and UC Irvine. The event featured a panel discussion on Building a Thriving Orange County, moderated by the Honorable Gaddi Vasquez.


Ten Years Great

The Great Park Neighborhoods celebrated a decade of transforming dreams into vibrant communities. Councilmember Agran attended the commemoration of this special milestone for FivePoint Communities and the Great Park Neighborhoods at the Great Park. The Great Park Neighborhoods are becoming a unique and dynamic community with beautiful residences, parks, trails, schools, and coffeehouses, all surrounding the iconic and evolving Great Park!


New Portola Springs Interpretive Signs

The Office of Councilmember Agran attended the Portola Springs Interpretive Signs Ribbon Cutting, with a breathtaking view of the 'U∫rónvanga village, a sacred area to the Acjachemen people. This event also included a cultural activity and the formal dedication of three new sentinel signs that offer insight into the life of the Acjachemen people and their rich history. This installation represents the City's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and its recognition of Irvine's indigenous community.


Second Annual Fiesta Latina en Irvine

Councilmember Agran joined the community at the second annual Fiesta Latina en Irvine, celebrating our Hispanic Americans who have positively influenced and enriched our nation, society, and community! Thanks to the exhibitors, vendors, and event sponsors, University of California, Irvine, and UCI Health!


The Final Beam of Hope

The City of Hope recently celebrated a significant milestone by installing the final beam at the City of Hope Orange County in Irvine. Councilmember Agran thanked the fantastic staff, the dedicated construction team, and everyone working tirelessly to complete this project. Along with the community, Councilmember Agran looks forward to the opening of Orange County's only cancer specialty hospital right here in Irvine in 2025.
