We have a responsibility to protect our Irvine families and children from this assault on the public's health. I'm committed to start work now with Councilmember Carroll and Special Legal Counsel on a disciplined strategy to get to an early successful conclusion. The voters put us in office to do so.

Last week, I was sworn-in to the Irvine City Council. I am grateful to the community for their support and for joining us at City Hall β€” the heart of our local democracy β€” and to the City staff for making last night a memorable one. Most importantly, I am excited to continue our work and service to the City of Irvine!

On December 4, I attended the 2022 Korean War Veterans Tribute & Speaker Forum in Irvine and enjoyed listening to the impactful stories of Korean War veterans. Thank you to all Japanese Americans who served in the Korean War and those who gave their lives.

How much fun would this be?! Open Street events like Los Angeles’ CicLAvia bring the community together to celebrate and promote environmental, social, economic, and public health goals.

On Saturday, December 3, 2022 the Irvine community came together to light the holiday tree at City Hall. I am incredibly grateful for city staff, volunteers, and all the community and booth activity sponsors. Seeing the community come together to enjoy the holidays is heartwarming.

β€œThe Irvine Business Complex is probably, if not the largest, one of the largest engines of economic development in all of Southern California.” - Councilmember Larry Agran

The Irvine Business Complex (IBC), located in the southwestern portion of the City, is a one-of-a-kind mixed-use community that includes planned commercial, industrial, retail, and residential land uses, where residents reside in high-density apartments and condo dwellings.
