This week we are pleased to begin sharing details of Councilmember Agran’s appointments to various City commissions and boards.

First up is Lauren Johnson-Norris to the Finance Commission.

The Finance Commission is responsible for providing City Council advice regarding the funding of activities and programs and ensuring the overall efficiency of spending on behalf of taxpayers. Tonight, Commissioner Johnson-Norris and her colleagues will meet to review the impact of COVID-19 on the City’s two- and five-year budget forecasts, among other items. It’s a big job and we are confident Lauren will support the commission with great insight and leadership as Irvine moves to cope with and recover from the ongoing impacts of COVID-19.
