What is the Future of the Orange County Power Authority?

At the Tuesday, November 9th Irvine City Council meeting, Councilmember Larry Agran raised “grave” concerns he has about the future of the Orange County Power Authority.

“This is not an easy game to play. I have grave doubts. I don’t want to see any more Irvine investments until such time as we get Orange County Power Authority officials in here, in front of this Council.”

(Councilmember Agran) “What happens if this entity fails?”

(City Attorney) “We will not get repaid.”
