I extend my gratitude to all who participated in the Memorial Day ceremonies. The 2023 Northwood Memorial Candle Lighting Ceremony was a poignant tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving their country. The ceremony featured a heartfelt address by keynote speaker Colonel Willard A. Buhl (Ret. U.S. Marine Corps), who delivered a touching tribute and message.

The Colonel Bill Barber Marine Corp Memorial Park, 10 a.m. ceremony, included Memorial Day remarks from Lieutenant Colonel Jeremy J. Colwell, U.S. Marine Corps, where the large gathering paid tribute to all military members who have died while serving in U.S. forces and recognized the 2023 military anniversaries.
