A MESSAGE FROM VICE MAYOR
LARRY AGRAN

Good evening, I am thrilled to invite you to a truly special celebration—the fourth annual Mid-Autumn Festival at the Great Park! Mark your calendars for Friday, September 13, from 5 to 9:30 p.m. This beloved tradition is not just a festival; it’s a vibrant tapestry of culture that unites our community and showcases the beauty of Asian heritage.

🎥 Before diving into the details, be sure to watch our video, highlighting what you can expect at this year's festival!

What to Expect: Prepare yourself for an evening filled with live performances, cultural exhibits, and an array of delicious food trucks offering mouth-watering treats! Whether you’re indulging in delectable mooncakes or enjoying captivating performances, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Families can delight in children’s activities designed to engage and inspire our young ones.

The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, is one of the most important celebrations in Chinese culture. It’s a time for families to come together, appreciate the beauty of the full moon, and give thanks for the harvest. This year, we celebrate not just the moon but the rich diversity of our community right here in Irvine.

Why This Matters: As your Vice Mayor, I am deeply committed to promoting unity, harmony, and cultural appreciation within our City. This festival represents the spirit of togetherness that defines us as a community and showcases the multicultural tapestry of Irvine.

Admission is FREE! This event is open to everyone—friends, families, and neighbors of all ages! So, bring your loved ones and immerse yourselves in the festivities. Let's celebrate the unity and prosperity that this special occasion represents. For further information about the festival, visit cityofirvine.org/midautumn.

I look forward to seeing you all under the moonlight as we celebrate our shared culture, values, and joy.
