Field Dat at the Great Park

Councilmember Agran was thrilled to attend the City of Irvine's annual Irvine Disaster Emergency Communications (IDEC) Field Day at the Great Park. IDEC, a dedicated group of licensed Amateur Radio operators, plays a crucial role in bolstering the City's public safety and emergency preparedness plan. Their unwavering commitment to supporting the community year-round is truly commendable. Councilmember Agran extends his appreciation to the IDEC team for their invaluable contributions and dedication to ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.


Earlier this month, Councilmember Agran welcomed two exceptional 2023 City Council Summer Interns! Isabel and Winston have brought their A-game, and Councilmember Agran couldn't be more excited to have them join his team. Their eagerness to learn and work with the community and City staff over their summer demonstrates the promise of Irvine's next generation of leadership.


All Media 2023 Exhibition

The All Media 2023 Exhibition has officially commenced! Over the weekend, Councilmember Agran's team attended the Grand Opening at the Irvine Fine Arts Center. This remarkable exhibition showcases the awe-inspiring creations of sixty-seven exceptionally talented visual artists, both local and national. The All Media 2023 Exhibition will be open until September 30.


Senior Tech Master Class

Last week, Councilmember Agran hosted an event to unleash the potential of our seniors through the transformative power of technology. The Office of Councilmember Agran and Cox Communications held a two-session, three-hub Tech Master Class at the Lakeview Senior Center in Irvine. Councilmember Agran thanks Cox Communications for its partnership in bringing this visionary initiative to life. By bridging the digital divide and equipping older adults with the necessary skills, we empower them to navigate the digital world confidently and embrace the benefits of technology.


Movies on the Lawn

Over the weekend, Councilmember Agran joined the community at the Summer in the City event, Movies on the Lawn, held at the Great Park Terraced Lawn. He enjoyed engaging with the attendees and distributing popcorn. The final movie of this series will be showcased this Saturday, July 15, and Councilmember Agran invites you to partake in this incredible summer activity.
