Tomorrow marks one week since Councilmember Agran circulated a memo to agendize a discussion on whether or not Irvine should move to district elections. Regrettably, none of his Council colleagues have stepped forward to second the item.

The public is not waiting for the City Council on this one! Citizens are leading the discussion online, in the news, and throughout the community. With this continued level of interest, Councilmember Agran remains optimistic the item will eventually be discussed by Council.
